02What we collect

We collect two kinds of information, and both are limited.

Information you give us. When you submit one of the enquiry forms on this site, we receive what you typed into it, which, depending on the form, may include your name, email address, phone number, organisation, role, country, city and the message itself.

Information collected automatically. If, and only if, you have agreed to analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects standard usage information such as the pages you view, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and general device and browser characteristics. If you decline, or if you never answer, no analytics is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

03What we do not collect

• We do not have user accounts on this website, so there is no password or profile.
• We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
• We do not buy personal data from third parties or enrich what you send us.
• We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
• We do not use your enquiry to build a marketing list you did not ask to join.

04Why we use it

Enquiry details are used to reply to you and to have the conversation you started: an investment discussion, a city or business partnership, an operator application, or a general question. That is the only purpose.

If you joined the early access list, we use your details to tell you when Scoteri launches in your city, and for nothing else.

Analytics, where you have agreed to it, is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site is failing people.

05Our legal basis

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries that were sent to us deliberately, and on your consent for analytics cookies and for the early access list. You can withdraw consent at any time.

06Who else sees it

Enquiry submissions are handled by the Scoteri team. We use ordinary service providers to operate the site and to receive and store submissions, for example hosting and, where enabled, Google Analytics. These providers act on our instructions and may process data outside your country.

We disclose personal information to anyone else only where we are legally required to.

07How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation they belong to is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we have a record of what was discussed. Early access details are kept until launch in your city, or until you ask to be removed.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you previously gave.

To make any of these requests, contact us via info@scoteri.com. We will not charge you for it and we will not make it difficult.

09Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores one small value in your browser to remember your analytics choice, and it loads Google Analytics only if that choice was yes. Our cookies page explains this in more detail.

10Security

This site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. We keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is the most reliable protection available. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.

11Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes

If this notice changes, the revised version will appear here with a new date at the top. Material changes to how we use information you already gave us will be communicated directly where we can.
